    Looking for Easter egg hunts and other Easter-themed activities for your family? The Elkhart Truth has compiled a list below. If your church or organization is hosting Easter celebrations or an Easter egg hunt, submit information to The Elkhart Truth's calendar.

    Linton's Enchanted Gardens

    What: Linton's Easter Egg-straordinaire. Take a ride on the Enchanted Express to the Easter egg hunt for $5 per person. Free photos with the Easter bunny with a canned good donation for Church Community Services. Decorate Easter cookies for $1. A free petting zoo features baby chicks, ducks, lambs and goats in the Conservatory.

    When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12; Sunday, April 13; and Saturday, April 19

    Where: 315 C.R. 17, Elkhart

     

    Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church

    What: Pysanky class - the art of Ukrainian egg painting. Materials supplied. Adults are $15 per person and children 12 and younger are $6. A bake sale featuring Easter breads, potato and cheese vareneky and other baked goods will be held. Call 537-1975 or 707-5728 to register.

    Crossroads Community Church

    What: Bounce houses, face painting, magic shows and other activities. An Easter egg hunt for more than 30,000 Easter eggs will begin at 4 p.m.

    When: Activities start at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12

    Where: 57415 Alpha Drive, Goshen

     

    Radiant Life Church

    What: Rather than finding Easter eggs, the church is asking children and families to find 15,000 non-perishable food items for the Northern Indiana Food Bank and Church Community Services.

    When: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, April 18, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19.

    Where: Northern Indiana Event Center, 21565 Executive Parkway, Elkhart

     

    Bethel Assembly of God

    What: A free pancake breakfast followed by two Easter egg hunts - one for small children and the other for children up to age 12.

    When: 9 a.m. Saturday, April 19

    Where: 600 E. Bristol St., Elkhart

     

    Winding Waters Church

    What: The Easter Bunny will be at the church's annual Easter egg hunt and family fun fair. The event includes face painting, games, prizes, candy and Lowe's Build and Grow projects.

    When: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 19

    Where: 421 C.R. 4 W., Elkhart

     

    Creekside Church of the Brethren

    What: Three Easter egg hunts for age groups (toddlers through sixth grade) with pries for everyone and a grand prize basket for each age group. There will be other easter activities as well.

    When: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19

    Bristol Church of the Nazarene

    What: A hot breakfast will precede Easter service. Following the service will be an Easter egg uhnt for children.

    When: Breakfast starts at 9 a.m. before the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday, April 20
