Goshen College women share stories at first Goshen Monologues event
GOSHEN — Friendship, family and faith are among the issues that will be explored in the first Goshen Monologues event.
A project called Goshen Monologues collected anonymous stories from female staff, faculty and students at Goshen College between August and December. Their submissions were formatted into a script that will be performed Tuesday, April 8, for free at Goshen College’s Umble Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 8 p.m.
The stories will highlight issues including peer pressure, body image and discovery. Subject matter may include sexual violence, assault, child abuse and eating disorders.
