Tickets on sale for Rachel Ries concert at Ignition Music Garage

Singer-songwriter Rachel Ries has toured in the United States and Europe with Anais Mitchell and Bon Iver.

GOSHEN — Hot off the heels of releasing a new album, former Goshen College student Rachel Ries and her backup band, The Never Lonely, are coming to the Maple City for a headlining concert at Ignition Music Garage.

  • Who is Rachel Ries? The singer-songwriter has spent time on tour in the United States and Europe with folk giants Anais Mitchell and Bon Iver. Ries draws inspiration from The Carpenters, Suzuki violins and her roots as the daughter of Mennonite missionaries. She released her newest album, “Ghost of a Gardener,” in February. The record includes appearances by Gregory Alan Isakov, Emmett Kelly and members of Brooklyn’s Cuddle Magic, among others.
