BRISTOL — American Girl Doll Day is coming to the Elkhart County Historical Museum once again on March 8.

This year's event features American Girl Doll Julie Albright, a girl living in San Francisco in 1974. Crafts and activities during the event will center around Julie's story, which also correlates with the museum's temporary exhibit on "Partly Dave," a coffeehouse ministry open in Elkhart in the '70s.

Girls attending may bring their dolls. There are two sessions, from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The cost of the event is $5, and registration by March 6 is required. To register call the Elkhart County Parks administration office at 535-6458.
