IUSB dental clinic to include basic preventive, restorative and extraction procedures

IUSB is providing access to preventive, restorative and extraction dental procedures on April 12.

SOUTH BEND — The first Indiana University South Bend Access to Care Day will take place April 12 at the IUSB dental facility, 1002 S. Esther St.

Volunteer dentists, assistants and hygienists from northern Indiana will provide basic preventive, restorative and extraction procedures to the South Bend/Mishawaka community.

The clinic will include booths featuring dental information and other topics such as smoking cessation, nutrition education and vital signs. Live entertainment will be provided from the IUSB theater department.

Early registration will start at 6 a.m. and the clinic will close at 6 p.m. The clinic is free and open to anyone older than 18.

 Midwest Museum of American Art, 429 S. Main Street, built in 1922 as St. Joseph Valley Bank.
