Fundraiser to benefit dog rescue group slated for Feb. 22.
The Second Chance Small Dog Rescue is hosting a fundraiser dance and silent auction to help raise money for the dogs they shelter.

ELKHART — Second Chance Small Dog Rescue will hold "Baby Boomer Bash Dance," a fundraising event, on Feb. 22.
The dance will be from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Knights of Columbus, 112 E. Lexington Ave. There will be music, dancing and a silent auction.
Second Chance is also seeking monetary donations prior to the event and items for the silent auction. To make a donation or for more information, call 295-7184 or 522-4248. An official letter will be mailed to donors.
The organization's goal is to raise $15,000 to assist with the costs of spays, neuters, vaccinations, teeth cleanings, surgeries and medicines and the purchase of crates, leashes and other supplies.
The Baby Boomer Bash Dance will have food and drinks available for purchase. The cost is $10 per ticket in advance or $15 at the door.
