JACKSON, Mich. — Riverside Village of Elkhart, Ind., received its 2013 Award for Excellence from Great Lakes Caring Hospice and Home Health.

The award recognizes skilled and assisted living facilities, doctors and hospitals for providing quality care to their residents and patients.

Riverside Village is among 118 selected from more than 1,200 candidates in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana for the annual award. “It’s important to recognize these partners who committed to their residents’ and their patients’ best interests,” said Great Lakes Caring Chief Executive Officer William Deary.
