ELKHART COUNTY CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT: The annual event will be Jan. 4 across Elkhart County. Field observers will meet at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 4 at the Ox Bow Haus Shelter in Ox Bow County Park, 23033 C.R. 45, Dunlap. ELKHART COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Ÿ The “Auto Indiana” exhibit will be on display from Jan. 9 to Feb. 3.

GOSHEN COLLEGE: The Jan Dean and Elfa Jonsdottir exhibit will be on display from Jan. 12 to March 2 in the Hershberger Gallery at the college, 1700 S. Main St., Goshen. An opening reception will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 12 in the Hershberger Art Gallery.

MIDWEST MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART: An exhibit of the work of IU South Bend Professor of Art Emeritus Anthony Droege will be on display until Feb. 23 at the museum, 304 W. Vistula St. Information: www.elkhartcountyhistory.org.

NATIONAL NEW YORK CENTRAL RAILROAD MUSEUM: Exhibits include the Stanley Bell Model Railroad Collection, which includes a five-track model train layout, the Mohawk 3001 NYC Steam Engine and interactive exhibits. The museum is at 721 S. Main St., Elkhart.

WOODLAWN NATURE CENTER: The exhibit “Fossils of the Michigan Basin” will be on display until March 9 at the center, 604 Woodlawn Ave., Elkhart.
