ELKHART — What started as one guitar and two voices became a series of top-charting love ballads from the early ’80s, and now those hits will be performed in Elkhart.

Austrailian soft rock duo Air Supply will perform at the Lerner Theatre on Feb. 28. The concert will feature such hits as “All Out of Love,” “Lost in Love” and “Love and Other Bruises.”

Air Supply creators Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock met while performing the Australian production of “Jesus Christ Superstar,” and began playing music together at coffee shops and pizza parlors. Before long, their harmonies took them to larger audiences. Air Supply’s 1980 hit “All Out of Love” was second in the U.S. top 5 singles.

The duo perform in venues around the world.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at the Lerner Theatre, 410 S. Main St. in Elkhart, by calling 293-4469 or by visiting
