BRISTOL — The Elkhart Civic Theatre is auditioning performers for an upcoming production of the John Cariani comedy “Almost, Maine.”

Director Kevin Egelsky will hold auditions at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Bristol Opera House, 210 E. Vistula St. He needs to fill 19 roles for the production, including a dozen men and seven women ages 18 and older.

Auditions will include cold readings from the script, although the director is willing to hear short prepared monologues. Actors must bring a list of all conflicts from Nov. 13 to Jan. 19.

Actors are encouraged but not required to read the script before the audition. The script can be checked out at the theater’s library up to one week before the auditions. Call John at 848-5853 to schedule a time to pick up a script.
