GOSHEN Recertification offered in ACLS

GOSHEN — Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Medical Services will offer advanced cardiac life support recertification courses from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 14 and 15 at the EGH Health Education Center, 2222 Rieth Blvd.

The one-day ACLS recertification course is designed for professionals who have completed the ACLS course yet have a card due to expire, or has recently expired. Participants must be competent in managing the 10 core cases with ACLS algorithms. This program is intended for physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, advanced level EMS providers or any healthcare provider responsible for emergency cardiac care. It is free for EGH employees. Fee is $75 for affiliated providers and $100 for non- affiliated providers. Price does not include textbooks.
