SOUTH BEND — Due to a scheduling conflict in the European tour, the Earth, Wind & Fire concert scheduled at the Morris Performing Arts Center on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. has been rescheduled to Saturday, Nov. 2, at 8:30 p.m.
The Morris Box Office says if fans have purchased tickets and are unable to attend the concert on the new date, refunds will be available at point of purchase.
Fans have until Sunday, Oct. 27, at 8 p.m. to return their tickets for a refund if tickets were purchased at or through the Morris Box Office.
Earth, Wind & Fire will return to South Bend for their first performance in the city since their 1975 show at the Notre Dame A.C.C.
Formed in Chicago in 1969, Earth, Wind & Fire has sold more than 90 million albums worldwide, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 and was the first African-American band to sell out Madison Square Garden.
The band’s hit singles include “Shining Star,” “Sing a Song,” “September,” “Boogie Wonderland” and “After the Love Has Gone.”
