OSCEOLA — Wing’s Etc. is celebrating Halloween by inviting all the undead and the living to its first ever Zombie Ball at its Osceola location to benefit a local organization that serves disabled people in Michiana.

The event begins with a Zombie Ball volleyball tournament. Registration is $150 for a co-ed team of six people and $25 for each additional player, with $100 from each team going to Corvilla, which provides care and homes for local people with developmental disabilities. The remaining $50 will be awarded to the tournament winner.

The ball will also include a dance contest. Prizes will be awarded for the best looking zombie. Craft beers, special zombie themed drinks and wings will be featured throughout the evening. Several items will be raffled off to benefit Corvilla and guests will have a chance to win a trip to Vegas.

The restaurant’s goal is to raise $11,000 in the evening, according to Ryan Bertles, general manager.

Live music will be provided by Indianapolis-area band Pragmatic, local band Driven and a DJ.

Make-up assistance will be on site to help the living get in the zombie spirit.
