FORT WAYNE Weekend of health events planned

    The weekend will feature a 5K Zombie Run, cross fit competitions, Olympic weightlifting, and judo and karate demonstrations.

    Fort Wayne Health and Fitness Expo will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 12 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at Memorial Coliseum, 4000 Parnell Ave.

    A 5K Zombie Run will start at 9 a.m. Oct. 12 at Johnny Appleseed Park, off Coliseum Boulevard at Harry Baals Drive.

    The weekend will also include cross fit competitions, Olympic weightlifting, judo and karate demonstrations, Zumba, Pilates and more. Children’s events are free to children 13 and younger. Admission costs $10 a day, $15 for a two-day pass and free for children 13 and younger. High school and college students with ID get $2 off a single day admission.
