Bariatric surgery seminar is Oct. 10

Elkhart General Hospital Bariatric and Metabolic Institute will host the free seminar “An Introduction to Bariatric Surgery: Is it Right for You?” from
6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 10 in the EGH Auditorium B in the Hospital West Wing, 600 East Blvd.
Eric Knapp, D.O., medical director of the Elkhart General Hospital Bariatric and Metabolic Institute, will discuss weight-loss surgery and the Elkhart General Hospital Bariatric and Metabolic Institute. He will describe details of the surgical procedures, medical effects of untreated obesity and lifestyle changes that accompany weight-loss surgery. There will be time for questions and answers. Attendees are encouraged to bring a support person.
