MISHAWAKA — Center for Hospice Care is planning a Fall Grief Forum next month.

Sessions will run 6:30 to 8 p.m. at LTC, 501 Comfort Place, and include time for questions and answers.

Ÿ “Dealing with the Physical Symptoms of Grief” will be Oct. 1. Dr. John Kubley, Center for Hospice Care medical director, will discuss how bodies react physically to the demands of care giving, the stress of grief, various treatments to address these symptoms and an overview of medications.

Ÿ “Healing Through Art” will be Oct. 8. Dave Labrum, art counselor for After Images Bereavement Art Counseling Program, will describe his participants’ use of art, paintings and drawings as a way of communicating and working through grief.

Ÿ “Learning From Other Bereaved Persons” will be Oct. 15. A panel of bereaved persons will share from their experiences of loss.
