A full list of bazaars will be published online every Friday until mid-December.
The first roundup will run in the Life section on Friday, Sept. 20. The second listing is planned for Friday, Nov. 1. Any church or organization wishing to appear in the second listing should submit its information by 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28. Entries submitted after the Oct. 28 deadline will not be considered. To place an event in one of the roundups, email your group’s information to email@example.com. Please include the time, date, location and street address of the event, and a brief summary of items that will be available. Please include the words “holiday bazaars” in the subject line. Groups may list their event in only one of the roundups.
Elkhart Calvary Assembly of God: A holiday bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gym at the church, 1010 E. Mishawaka Road, Elkhart. There will be local craft items including purses, blankets and jewelry as well as brand name items like 31 gifts, Origami Owl and Scentsy. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
Pleasant Valley United Church of Christ: A Harvest Church Bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 10955 Edison Road, Osceola. There will be crafts, jams, jellies, plants, a Trash and Treasure Room, baked goods, pickles, apples, pumpkins and Indian corn. Lunch will be served.
Augusta Lutheran Church: A Swedish Bazaar will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the church, 1133 Kilbourn St., Elkhart. There will be Swedish rye bread, baked goods, holiday crafts, handmade items and a silent auction. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Blue Line Handmade Market Place: An all handmade craft bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Elkhart FOP Lodge 52, 1003 Industrial Pkwy., Elkhart. All booth rental fees will benefit the FOP Lodge Auxiliary Child Christmas Fund.
Rock Run Church of the Brethren: A holiday bazaar will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 64985 C.R. 33, Goshen. Items for sale include comforters, woven rugs, crafts, a cookie walk, homemade noodles and homemade baked goods. Lunch will be served the entire time.
All Saints Episcopal Church: A browsing for the holiday auction will be at 5 p.m. at the church, 7812 E. Vawter Park Drive, Syracuse, the auction will begin at 6 p.m. Finger food will be provided. There will be handmade items, crafts and local merchant gift cards.
Church Community Services: The Soup of Success Open House will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 907 Oakland Ave., Elkhart. Hand packaged soup, dip and cookie mixes, greeting cards, gift basket options and upcycled mittens will be available. Proceeds benefit training wages for local women seeking self-sufficiency.
Community Church of Waterford: A holiday bazaar and bake sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 65154 C.R. 21, Goshen. There will be food, crafts, gifts and one-of-a-kind items. Breakfast and lunch will be available.
First English Lutheran Church: There will b ecrafters and vendors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 406 S. Fifth St., Goshen. Lunch will be served. All proceeds will benefit the Carmen Yoder Medical Fund. Information: Darla at 825-4041.
Greencroft Goshen Community Center: A fall bazaar will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center, 1820 Greencroft Blvd., Goshen. There will be homemade items for sale. Breakfast and lunch from B in the Circle Bistro will be served. Vendor spots available. Information: 537-4096.
Greencroft Middlebury Senior Center: A holiday bazaar and bake sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center, 701 Windridge Drive, Middlebury. There will be baked items for sale including cinnamon rolls, pies and fudge as well as handcrafted items. Lunch and coffee will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Information: 825-6785.
High Dive Pavilion: A homespun holiday craft show will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the pavilion, 500 E. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart. All items available are hand crafted only. Faith United Methodist Church: A homemade craft bazaar will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 22045 C.R. 18, Goshen. There will be homemade crafts, used Christmas items, cheese balls by the Alpha Rho Chapter, Beta Chi Sorority and peanut brittle made by the church. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
Lutheran Church of the Redeemer: A craft bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 3300 Benham Ave., Elkhart. There will be handmade crafts, a silent auction and food.
St. David’s Episcopal Church: A bazaar will be hosted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. by the Episcopal Church Women of the church. The bazaar will include a cookie walk, baked goods and old and new Christmas decorations. Soup will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the community.
St. John the Cross Episcopal Church: The Sugar and Spice bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 601 E. Vistula St., (S.R. 120), Bristol. There will be a cookie walk, baked goods, a raffle, a silent auction and outside vendors. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Vendor spots available. Information: 848-7114.
St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church: A holiday bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 226 W. Lexington Ave., Elkhart. There will be arts and crafts, baked goods and “forgotten treasures.” Free parking. Information: 295-1725.
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church: The Star of Wonder bazaar will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the church, 405 W. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart. There will be Christmas crafts and decorations, knitted and crocheted items, baked goods, Rada knives, whole hog sausage, cracklings and cheese curds.
Trinity United Methodist Church: The holiday gift auction and tea will be from 12:30 to 3:15 p.m. at the church, 2715 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart. Auction items are one-of-a-kind gifts for children and adults. Refreshments provided. Sponsored by the church’s United Methodist Women. Proceeds benefit local and national charities.
YMCA: The Festival of Trees and Lights Holiday Gift Shop will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Nov. 14, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 16 at the YMCA, 200 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart. There will be holiday ornaments and décor and special items crafted by local artisans.
Osolo Elementary School: An olde fashioned holiday bazaar will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school, 24975 C.R. 6 East, Elkhart. Vendor spots available. Information: 262-5590.
Hillcrest United Methodist Church: A cookie walk will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the church, 4206 E. Bristol St., Elkhart. There will be a variety of cookies, candies and breads.
St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church: A Winter Wonderland craft bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 411 W. Vistual St., Bristol. There will be homemade crafts, jewelry and baked goods. Santa Claus will be available to take free pictures with the children.
