Members of the music faculty at the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts at Indiana University South Bend will kick off the new season with a recital at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the campus auditorium, Northside Hall.
A variety of programs will be represented, including Jorge and Jennifer Muniz, returning faculty members with the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts. They will perform a duo piano piece, “Three American Nocturnes” composed by Jorge Muniz, associate professor of music, piano and theory.
Soprano Jessica McCormack, an assistant professor of voice, will perform accompanied by Geoffrey Duce on piano.
Ketevan Baldridze, lecturer in music and assistant to Alexander Toradze, will perform twice with members of the Euclid Quartet. She will perform selections from Prokofiev’s Violin Sonata No. 1 in F minor, Op. 80 with violinist Jameson Cooper. She will also present the first movement of Rachmaninoff’s Cello Sonata in G minor, Op. 19 with cellist Si-Yan Darren Li.
