Local chiropractic office hosting back to school event for kids, students

The practice will offer adjustments to children and students who are current patients and screening exams to new patients in exchange for donations.

ELKHART — Natural Health Family Chiropractic is offering chiropractic care in exchange for donations during its annual Back to School event on Saturday, Aug. 17.

Children who are current patients, from infants to college students, may receive a free adjustment in exchange for a school supply or monetary donation, according to a press release from the organization.

New patients can receive a chiropractic screening exam in exchange for a donation.

The goal of the event “ is to ensure area children are physically and neurologically capable of taking on the school year,” according to the press release. Some problems that school-age students commonly face include poor posture, injuries from overweight backpacks, stress, nutrition and getting enough rest, according to the press release.

Donations will be given to Mary Daly School in Elkhart.
