End-of-life seminar to aid families in planning medical care

GOSHEN — An End of Life seminar for adults and their children will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. July 30 at the Indiana University Health Goshen Hospital Arbor Conference Center, 200 High Park Ave.

IU Health Goshen Hospital experts will present on how to best plan for end-of-life medical care. Experts include Dr. Max Mertz, Hospice and Palliative Care; Rachel Schertz, LCSW, Patient/Family Impact and Cultural Differences; Dr. Wheeler, Indiana Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment; and Sister Nora Frost, Advanced Directives, Out of Hospital DNR and Organ Donation.
