Registration is required by July 26 for South Bend Airport and Allegiant Air’s “Dodge High Fares” dodgeball tournament for charity in South Bend.

Check-in will begin at 5 p.m. and games will start at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Gridiron Plaza at the former College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend.

Teams should consist of six to 10 players, all 18-years-old or older. Teams must have at least two women and two men per team. Creative team uniforms are encouraged, but no gloves, baseball caps or bandanas may be worn during the game.

The tournament is $100 per team. The Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County, Kelly Cares Foundation and United Way of St. Joseph County each split 50 percent of the registration fees. The winning team will choose one of the three to receive the remaining 50 percent.

The winning team will also receive a victory party, including appetizers and drinks, at a later date, courtesy of Fiddler’s Hearth.
