Puerto Rico Mennonite gathering slated for late July in Goshen

GOSHEN — Individuals with a Puerto Rico Mennonite Connection are invited to a Puerto Rico Mennonite gathering in Goshen at the end of July.

Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, 58529 C.R. 23, Goshen. Activities for Saturday will include a Puerto Rican meal at noon catered by Rolling Scones, time to socialize with other attendees, singing, devotions, updates from Menno organizations on the island, a light meal in the evening served by Pleasant View Church staff and more. Activities will conclude at 9 p.m.

On Sunday, July 28, the group will meet from 9:30 a.m. at Greencroft Community Center, 1820 Greencroft Boulevard, Goshen, for worship and closing business.

The event is $25 per person for the meals, which can be paid in cash or check only at registration on Saturday. An offering will be taken Sunday to cover additional expenses. Excess money will be given to the Convención Menonita Puertorriqueña.
