Blood donors can win a vacation
Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are given priority.

SOUTH BEND — Individuals who donate blood at the South Bend Medical Foundation will be entered to win a $4,000 vacation package including a four-night stay at a value hotel at Walt Disney World, airfare, transfers and four hopper passes during October.
Donors will also receive a “Spot the Drop” magnet. Through September, the South Bend Medical Foundation will have spotters out four times a week taking pictures of magnets on vehicles. Pictures will be posted on the company website and Facebook page. Once the donor identifies the vehicle, he or she will be given $50 in gift cards. The promotion will run throughout 2013 and prizes will change quarterly.
The medical foundation’s South Bend location at 530 N. Lafayette Blvd. is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The Mishawaka location at 118 W. Edison Road is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The Elkhart location in Elkhart General Hospital, 600 East Blvd., is open from noon to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
