MISHAWAKA — The Cardiovascular Wellness Center, an independent cardiology practice in Mishawaka specializing in cardiac arrhythmias, opened in early June.
The center offers the latest cardiac technology including complex arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment and cardiac electronic devices, including pacemaker and internal cardioverter-defibrillator implantation and follow-up.
Dr. Djavid Hadian started the practice with his wife, Dr, Ester Van Der Wal. Hadian earned his medical degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam School of Medicine, Netherlands. He served his residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Hospitals and his fellowship at IU Health University Hospitals. He is board-certified in electrophysiology, cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine. Hadian has privileges at Memorial Hospital, Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Elkhart General Hospital and IU Health Goshen Hospital and accepts all major insurance plans.
Van Der Wal is a board-certified radiologist who worked on the staff at the Cleveland Clinic and faculty at Indiana University Medical Center. She can offer patients in-office vascular ultrasound services.
