ELKHART — The ceremonial groundbreaking for construction on a new Elkhart General Home Care building is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, on the southwest corner of C.R. 17 and Verdant Drive.

The new 36,500-square-foot facility will house all Elkhart General Home Care services, including a Medicare-licensed and Medicaid-licensed home health agency, an infusion and compounding pharmacy, a home medical equipment business with a retail gallery and a licensed personal services agency.

The building will be owned and developed by Great Lakes Capital Development for Elkhart General Home Care on a build-to-suit basis and will be the first in Elkhart County to provide all services from one location.
