BRISTOL — The public is invited to the grand opening of a new library and reading room at the Elkhart County Historical Museum.

The Corson Local History Library and Special Collections Reading Room will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 26, for visitors to view. The new space will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and by appointment.

The library provides access to the collections of the Elkhart County Historical Society and the Elkhart County Genealogical Society.

The Corson Family Foundation provided a grant for the project, with additional funding from the Elkhart County Historical Society, Elkhart County Genealogical Society and the Elkhart County Parks Department.
