Weekend concert at Ignition Garage features Amy LaVere

Singer Amy LaVere will perform Sunday, April 21, at Ignition Garage in downtown Goshen.

GOSHEN — Singer Amy LaVere will make a stop in downtown Goshen this weekend as part of a cross-country tour, bringing her thunderous bass playing and feisty lyrics to Ignition Garage.

Ÿ Who is Amy LaVere? Blending the blues with country, folk, Cajun and R&B music, LaVere has made a name for herself on the Americana charts and touring from coast to coast. Her 2011 album “Stranger Me” received praise by Paste, Spin and Q magazines among others. LaVere recorded “Chasing the Ghost Rehearsal Sessions” last year with singer songwriter Shannon McNally, who is scheduled to perform at Ignition Garage on May 31.
