Midwest Cardiovascular Specialists join SJRMC health system

MISHAWAKA — Midwest Cardiovascular Specialists has joined the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center health system to form Midwest Cardiology. Cardiologists Farid Jalinous, Sachin Patel, William Sarnat, Ajazuddin Shaikh and Ashfaq Turk joined Saint Joseph Physician Network, a group of medical practices owned and operated by SJRMC. Midwest Cardiology forms one of the largest practices in Michiana that consists entirely of board certified cardiologists. “Saint Joseph looks forward to working even more closely with these expert physicians as we set a new standard for heart and vascular care in our community,” said Lori Price, Saint Joseph Physician Network administrator. Midwest Cardiology provides a range of cardiovascular services including risk assessments, stress testing, renal artery stents, vascular ultrasounds and more. Services will continue to be provided at the same location, 611 E. Douglas Ave., Suite 208. Patients of physicians listed above do not need to reschedule future appointments.
