Elkhart Environmental Center offering special event host training April 2

The training sessions include a required background check.

ELKHART — The Elkhart Environmental Center is offering special event host training for all those interested in participating in community events and representing the EEC.

The training session is from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the EEC, 1717 E. Lusher Ave., Elkhart. Attendance at the session and a background check are required to become special event hosts.

The training will cover how to set up the EEC booth and lead popular event activities.
