Bristol $SUBT_ON$ECT slates auditions for ‘Enchanted April’$SUBT_OFF$

BRISTOL — The Elkhart Civic Theatre will hold auditions for “Enchanted April” by Matthew Barber later this month.

Auditions will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 24 and 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Bristol Opera House.

The story takes place in 1922 and follows four uniquely different women seeking to escape war-scarred London to San Salvatore, Italy.

Actors needed are:

Ÿ one man, age 20s to 40s

Ÿ two men, ages 30s to 50s

Ÿ two women, ages 30s to 50s

Ÿ one woman, age 60s to 70s

Ÿ one woman, age 20s to 30s

Arrive early to fill out an audition form. Auditions will consist of readings from the script and may include using a British accent. One character also needs an Italian accent. Copies of the script are available from the Elkhart Civic Theatre office up to one week prior to auditions by calling 848-5853. Bring a complete listing of conflicts from March 3 to May 5. Performance dates are April 26, 27 and 28 and May 3, 4 and 5. The Bristol Opera House is at 210 E. Vistula St.
