Goshen College's Music Center is offering Music Together classes starting in January.

GOSHEN — A new term of Music Together classes at Goshen College Music Center will begin the week of Jan. 7.

The Music Together classes are for children and a parent, grandparent or caregiver. Classes focus on teaching singing and music of many styles and cultures. Children receive a songbook and professional CD for home listening.

Classes are 45 minutes and are once a week for 10 weeks. Classes are taught by a professional teacher and are offered at Greencroft Retirement Center, Evergreen Place, Goshen College Music Center, LifeCenter/First United Methodist Church, Chamberlain Elementary School and Waterford Crossing Senior Village in Goshen and Prairie Street Mennonite Church in Elkhart.

Tuition is $150 for the first child in a family and $20 for each additional child. Need-based scholarships are available for families who qualify for free or reduced lunch in the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch program.
