Holiday Bazaar List

Get your Christmas shopping started with this list of upcoming bazaars.

The Elkhart Truth is publishing its annual listings of bazaars, bakes sales and craft shows for the 2012 holiday season.

The list will be updated online every Friday until mid-December.

To place an event in one of the roundups, email your group’s information to jkuharic@etruth.com. Please include the time, date, location and street address of the event, and a brief summary of items that will be available. Please include the words “holiday bazaars” in the subject line. SATURDAY

Alpha Rho Charter/Beta Chi Sorority: The group will be selling cheeseballs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 22045 C.R. 18, Goshen. All proceeds go to charities for Multiple Sclerosis. Cost: $6.

Bethany Church of the Brethren: The sixth annual Holiday Open House is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be consultants from various companies as well as crafts. Lunch will be served by Bethany Women’s Fellowship. The church is at 19003 U.S. 6, New Paris.

Beulah Missionary Church: The church will be holding its annual Holiday Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be homemade items, jewelry, stained glass and home vendors. Food will be available. Information: Jackie Smith 875-6537. The church is located at 57595 Old C.R. 17.

Bonneyville Mill County Park: There will be a Holiday at the Mill craft and flour bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park. There will be cornmeal grinding demonstrations. Cookies and cocoa will be served. Santa will also make an appearance. Information: www.elkhartcountyparks.org. The park is at 53373 C.R 131, Bristol.

Crossroads Community Church: There will be a craft fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be handmade, knitted, crocheted and sewn items. There will also be cards, jewelry and brand name items. Lunch will be served. The church is at 57415 Alpha Drive, Goshen.

Dunlap United Methodist Church: The 16th Annual Shop-O-Rama is from 9 a. m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be homemade mincemeat, chocolates and new products from at-home vendors. There will be a bake sale and lunch available. The church is at 23674 U.S. 33, Elkhart.

Faith United Methodist Church: A holiday craft show is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be more than 100 crafters as well as a “gently used” table. Hope United Methodist Church: The Hope United Methodist Women are sponsoring a church bazaar from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be homemade pies, cake, craft tables, a bake sale, a White Elephant sale and used books. Lunch will be served. Information: 269-663-2638. The church is at 69941 Elkhart Road, Edwardsburg, Mich.

Osceola United Methodist Women for Missions: The group will have a Holiday Fantasy Bazaar from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Osceola United Methodist Church. There will be craft vendors, baked goods, holiday items, homemade noodles, Second Time Around items and books. Lunch and snacks will be served. The church is at 431 N. Beech Rd., Osceola.

Radiant Life Church: There will be a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church. There will be a large craft show, various vendors, door prizes, and handmade gifts and food. The church is at 2936 Lillian Ave., Elkhart.

St. David’s Episcopal Church: The churches ECW will host a holiday bazaar from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be homemade soups and cookies. There will also be an “Oldie But Goodie” room with repurposed holiday decorations. All proceeds go to local charities. The church is at 26824 C.R. 4 W., Elkhart. St. John of the Cross Episcopal Church: The annual Sugar and Spice Bazaar is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. Proceeds will benefit community outreach as well as other church projects. There will be homemade strudel, a cookie walk, baked goods, a raffle, and Grandma’s Attic. Lunch will be served. The church is at 601 E. Vistula St., Bristol.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church: There will be a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. They will have holiday items, a bake sale, needlework, handcrafted items, plants, “Hidden Treasures” and lunch. The church is at 411 W. Vistula St., Bristol.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church: The Ladies Circle will host their annual Holiday Potpourri Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be a “White Reindeer” table and Christmas gifts. St. Paul’s United Methodist Church: The church’s “Star of Wonder” bazaar is from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be ornaments, knitted and crocheted items, homemade baked goods, English walnuts, roasted cashews, whole hog sausage, cheese curds and more available for purchase. The church is at 405 W. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart.

Zion Missionary Church: There will be a holiday bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Beulah Missionary Church. There will be baby quilts, blankets and other baby items. There will also be doll blankets and pillows, kitchen towels, aprons, hot pads, snacks, candies, cakes, pies and cookies. The church is at 57595 C.R. 17, Goshen.

MONDAY

Bashor Children’s Home Auxiliary: The annual food and craft auction is at 9:30 a.m. in the Alternative School Building Cafeteria. There will be hand crafted items, baked goods, homemade jellies, jams and candies will be up for auction. The auxiliary is at 62226 C.R. 15, Goshen.

St. James’ Episcopal Church: There will be a Holiday Auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the church. There will be holiday craft items, baked goods, gift baskets and cheeseballs. Refreshments will be available. Proceeds will benefit Christian outreach programs and church projects. The church is at 105 S. Sixth St., Goshen.

NOV. 17

All Saints Episcopal Church: There will be a Holiday Auction beginning at 6 p.m. at the church. Donated items include baked goods, craft items, business items, Christmas items and cheese balls. There will also be finger food and desert items. The church is at 7812 Vawter Park Road, Syracuse.

Milford Community Bazaar: The fifth annual bazaar is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Milford School Gym. There will be homemade crafts, jewelry and wood crafts, floral arrangements, peanut brittle, kettle corn and unique crafts. Breakfast and lunch will be served. New Testament Bible Church: The annual Candy Cane Lane Christmas Bazaar is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. Vendors include Scentsy, Mary Kay, Avon and Blue Marble Garden Decor. There will also be a bake goods and a rummage table. There will be an all you can eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. The church is at 29718 C.R. 18, Elkhart.

Osolo Elementary School: The 31st Annual Olde Fashioned Holiday Craft Bazaar will be from from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Osolo Elementary School. There will be more than 100 crafters, food, drinks and smencils. The school is at 24975 C.R. 6, Elkhart.

Parke Place and Boardwalk: There will be a Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clubhouse, Osolo Road, Elkhart. There will be crafts, knits, art/décor, Avon, 31 Gifts, and designer jewelry.

Ramer Mennonite Youth Center: There will be a holiday sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center. There will be more than 40 booths present. There will also be a bake sale. Lunch will be served. Information: 831-6855. The center is at 24647 C.R. 44, Nappanee.

Trinity United Methodist Church: There will be a preview and silent auction beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the church. The live auction will begin at 2 p.m. Items to be auctioned include gift holiday decor, quilted wall hangings, antique candle holders and a special meal prepared and served in your home. Refreshments. Proceeds benefit the UMW mission work. The church is at 2715 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart.

Union Center Church of the Brethren: There will be a holiday extravaganza from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be bazaar items, a bake sale, a quilt on silent auction, a youth fundraiser booth and an array of vendors and crafters. Refreshments will be available. The church is at 70535 C.R. 11, Nappanee.

Waterford Elementary: There will be a Winter Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school. There will be crafts, handmade jewelry, candles and Scholastic Books. The school is at 65560 S.R. 15, Goshen.

DEC. 1

A Handmade Holiday Craft Show is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Old Bag Factory, 1100 N. Chicago Ave., Goshen. More than 30 booths will be set up to sell handmade items including hair accessories, jewelry, crocheted items, glass work, aprons, wreaths, glass work and bottle cap magnets. Hillcrest United Methodist Church: The annual cookie walk is from 8 a.m. to noon at the church. There will be cookies, candies and breads. The church is at 4206 E. Bristol St., Elkhart.

Jefferson Fire Department: A Touch of Christmas Holiday Bazaar is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the fire department. Vendors include Usborne Children’s Books, Scentsy, 31 Gifts and Bags, Tastefully Simple, Norwex, Silpada Jewerly and Stampin’ Up. Refreshments will be served. Questions: april24@maplenet.net. St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church: A craft bazaar is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be hand crafted items such as children’s clothing, throw pillows and jewelry. The church is at 411 W. Vistula St., Bristol.

Wakarusa United Methodist Women: The annual cookie walk will be at the church from 9 a.m. until they sell out. There will be homemade cookies and candies and holiday cheese spreads. The church is at 309 S. Elkhart St., Wakarusa.

DEC. 8

Cleveland Elementary: There will be a Christmas Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school. There will be one of a kind crafts and home based businesses. There will also be breakfast with Santa. The school is at 53403 C.R. 1, Elkhart.

Dunlap United Methodist Church: A holiday cookie walk starts at 8:30 a.m. at the church. There will be homemade cookies, candies, fruitcakes, pies, and peanut brittle. The church is at 23674 U.S. Hwy 33, Elkhart.

Ireland Road Church of God: There will be a Holiday Bazaar and Craft show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. There will be more than 40 vendors selling hand crafted items, baked goods and hot food. There will also be a raffle. The church is at 16555 Ireland Road, Mishawaka.

DEC. 15

Calvary United Methodist: The annual Cookie Walk is from 8 a.m. until all cookies are sold, at the church. Large boxes are $9 and small boxes are $6. Enter by the rear parking lot. The church is at 222 W. Indiana Ave., Elkhart.

DEC. 22

St. Mark’s United Methodist Women: The group will have its annual Cookie Walk from 8:30 a.m. to noon at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 502 N. Main St., Goshen. There will be homemade cookies, fresh for Christmas. Cookies are sold by the dozen.[/URL]
