 Alaskan Brewing Company coming to Michiana

Alaskan Brewing Company will add Michigan and South Dakota to its distribution area and will also add a canning line to its facility.

Beacon Health System is partnering with the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization and Indiana Lions Eye Bank to facilitate organ, eye and tissue donation. Activities at Memorial Hospital take place Wednesday; activities at Elkhart General Hospital take place through April 27.

Two worship and prayer events will be held May 1 in downtown Goshen on the court house lawn to recognize National Day of Prayer.

 Engineers at the University of Notre Dame have formed a group called Engineering to Empower. Their goal is to teach Haitians how to build safe, secure homes that are affordable.
