The marching band program at Jimtown High School is growing and this year, they’re taking on a more difficult routine.

High school football kicked off under [rainy] Friday night lights. 

 The Mangy Lion Trophy currently resides on 1 Blazer Blvd., home of the Elkhart Central Blue Blazers. Central will travel crosstown to rival Elkhart Memorial on Friday, Aug. 22.

Elkhart Central has owned the trophy for two years, but Elkhart Memorial is playing at home in 2014.
