 This undated photo offers a glimpse into the history of Salem Mennonite Church in New Paris, where congregations have gathered for 125 years.

The New Paris church first held services in 1889. A special service Nov. 2 will commemorate the anniversary.

 Fire crews investigate a fire that burned for hours at Better Way Products Plant 2 in New Paris on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014.

Eleven fire departments helped extinguish a blaze at Better Way Products in New Paris. The fire burned for hours and the building is considered a total loss.
