Photos: Celebrate the Fourth
Posted on July 4, 2014 at 6:38 p.m.

Nappanee embraced the Fourth with a daylong festival on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. After the parade wound its way through town, tossing candy to the crowds, celebrants moved to Stauffer park for games and food.

The Nappanee Fire Department sponsored a waterball game, in which two teams used fire hoses to blast a ball back and forth. The supreme soaking was just the thing for the hot afternoon. A talent show showcased dancing, singing and karate while food vendors dished up summer favorites and the pool was open and free.

The festivities will continue into the night — check here for information on fireworks.
