Middlebury American Legion Post 210 Awards Scholarships

The Post 210 awarded $9,500 in scholarships.

On June 16, Middlebury American Legion Post 210 awarded $9,500 in scholarships to ten students:

Katie Ditmars of Goshen received $1500.00 to continue in her junior year as a nursing student at Goshen College.

Megan Clouse of Middlebury received $500.00. She will be a freshman at Indiana University.

Rita Jakubowski of Middlebury received $500 to begin graduate school at Western Michigan University.

Jeremy Harper of Elkhart received $500.00. He will be a senior at Indiana State University.

Pierson Furnish of Fishers received $500.00. He will be a freshman at Purdue University.

Amy Sanchez of Noblesville received $500.00 to attend Northwestern University.

Samuel O’Dell of New Palestine received $500.00. He will be a freshman at Indiana University.

Daniel O’Dell of New Palestine received $500.00. He will be a senior at Indiana University.

Two students received Scott Nielsen Memorial Scholarships, funded by Post 210’s annual Scotty’s Ride. The scholarships are given to students who are pursuing a vocational or technical education.

Ashtin Kaminer of LaGrange received $2000.00 to attend Kellogg Community College.

Lane Gortney of Granger received $2500.00 to attend the University of Northwestern in Ohio.
