Middlebury issues freeze warning for water customers
Freeze warning in Middlebury will remain effect indefinitely.
MIDDLEBURY — The town of Middlebury has issued a freeze warning for all water customers using the town's water system.
In a news release on Wednesday, Jan. 29, Town Manager Mark Salee recommended that users trickle one cold water faucet in their homes to keep water flowing and prevent pipes from freezing.
The freeze warning will be in effect until further notice, according to the news release.
Customers may request a usage and billing adjustment for keeping faucets on during the warning or report a water line problem by calling the town at 825-1499.
