Things to do in Goshen this weekend

If you’re a fan of live music and fresh summer tomatoes, Goshen has several events for you this weekend.

Samuel Lawton and Mister Three Hearts concert

When: Music starts at 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29

Where: Constant Spring, 219 S. Main St.

Description: Indianapolis artist Samuel Lawton returns to Goshen to play at Constant Spring. Goshen rock band Mister Three Hearts will also perform. Starting at 9:30 p.m., cover will be $5.


The Tumbleweed Jumpers at Art House

When: 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29

Where: Art House Theater, 211 S. Main St.

Description: Local band The Tumbleweed Jumpers will play at the theater. The show will feature artists Laura K. Balke, from Indianapolis, and Dena Dena Dena, from South Bend. Tickets are $10.


Fifth Annual Heirloom Tomato Festival 

When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30

Where: Uncle Paul’s Gardens, 404 Olive St.

Description: The festival will include different varieties of tomatoes for tasting, including fried green tomatoes. Jim Carpenter, a master gardener, will speak at the event at noon. There will also be special prices on tomatoes.
