The Goshen Hospital and Health Care Foundation has raised nearly $100,000 for community members in need of health services.

The contributions came from the fourth annual Gala for HOPE at the Lerner Crystal Ballroom Sunday, July 6.

The foundation’s Healthcare Opportunities Provided for Everyone (HOPE) project aims to relieve the financial burden of healthcare costs for residents across Elkhart County.

This year’s event focused on children’s health, the uninsured and underinsured, mental health and other health needs.

Ed and Janet Bradford of Goshen were honored at the gala with the 2014 Lifetime Healthcare Leadership Award, presented by Tyler Hostetler, this year’s Bradford Family scholarship winner.

This year’s Lifetime Physician Service Award was given to Jack P. Clark, M.D. of Syracuse.
