Drivers traveling through Goshen Tuesday morning may need to find a detour as two Norfolk Southern trains are apparently blocking several railroad crossings in Goshen and Dunlap.

The two trains are stopped due to a problem with either the train or the track, a Norfolk Southern representative said.

He added that crews are working to figure out what the problem is, and to get the trains moving again. It’s unknown how long the railroad crossings will be closed.

The trains are stopped on Norfolk Southern tracks north and west of Reynolds Street in Goshen and possibly going all the way up into Dunlap, a dispatcher with the Elkhart County 911 Center said.
