More than 200 local volunteers rolled up their sleeves Saturday, May 10, for LaCasa's 24th Help-A-House event.

Sixteen Goshen homes underwent repairs ranging from landscaping to roof repairs, thanks to help from Goshen College students, church groups, businesses and others in the community.

Some of the repaired homes are rental properties owned by LaCasa, a nonprofit focused on community housing development. Others belong to low- to moderate-income homeowners.
