GOSHEN — Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds are putting a modern spin on classic soul music this weekend to Ignition Music Garage.

  • Who are Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds? Since the band started touring three years ago, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds have hit some of the hottest music festivals around the country including Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn., Austin City Limits, Firefly in Dover, Del., and Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans. Led by singer Arleigh Kincheloe, the group has opened for The Avett Brothers, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue and the Counting Crows among others.
