MDwise hosting Obamacare information sessions in Goshen

The sessions, in Goshen, will offer participants the chance to ask questions about applying for health care via the online exchange.

GOSHEN — MDwise, partnering with the Goshen Chamber of Commerce, is hosting several sessions to educate the public about the Affordable Care Act and online marketplace.

The first was on Feb. 25 and upcoming events are:

  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, March 3.
  • 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 12.
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18. Bilingual assistance will be available.

The events are come-and-go and will be held at the Goshen Chamber of Commerce, 232 S. Main St. The public is welcome.

MDwise, an Indianapolis-based non-profit health care company, is one of four companies offering health plans in Elkhart County via the online marketplace, www.healthcare.gov, a key component of the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. Reps from the company will be available to answer questions

The deadline to apply for coverage for 2014 via the marketplace is March 31.
