Goshen Police Department hires reserve officer as new patrol officer

GOSHEN - The Goshen Police Department welcomed a new member Monday, Feb. 10 at the weekly meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety and Stormwater.

The board approved the department's hiring of Ronnie R. Yoder Jr. as a probationary patrol officer.

Yoder worked as a reserve officer in the department for the past two-and-a-half years, as well as an Elkhart County communications officer for the past nine years.

The hiring was made retroactive to Friday, Feb. 7.
