Saturday's 2014 Elkhart Jazz Fest lineup boasts nearly 50 performances

Headlining Saturday’s schedule is Grammy award-winning artist Aaron Neville.

The 2014 Elkhart Jazz Festival reaches a fever pitch today with around 50 performances lined up, making it the most action-packed day of the four-day event.

Grammy award-winning artist Aaron Nevilleheadlines the schedule for Saturday, June 21. He’s is known for hits like "Don't Know Much," "Tell it Like it Is" and "Everybody Plays the Fool."

The jazz fest forecast
On Saturday, June 21, Accuweather predicts a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day with a high of 81 degrees and a low of 61 degrees.

Neville will perform at 8 p.m. at the Lerner Theatre. Tickets for his show range from $30 to $60.

For jazz lovers on a budget, there are 15 free events on the schedule. There’s also a wide range of tickets and passes for sale. Pricing information is available online at www.downtownelkhart.org.

Amid the music will be nine food booths in Civic Plaza, including The Pretzel Wagon, The Berry Patch and Joe’s Gyros. Some downtown restaurants are offering specials and extended hours
