ELKHART - There will be several street restrictions surrounding the intersection of Waterfall Drive and Lexington Avenue beginning Wednesday, Aug. 6, the city of Elkhart announced.

The intersection will be closed for approximately two to four hours for a water main construction. Westbound traffic on Lexington Avenue between Waterfall Drive and Main Street will be closed until Sept. 1. Northbound traffic on Waterfall Drive between High Street and Jackson Boulevard will also be closed until Sept. 1.

The closures will not affect east-bound traffic on Lexington Avenue and south-bound traffic on Waterfall Drive, but the restricted traffic flow will continue as the city begins a major sewer project.
