City of Elkhart's website gets a brand new design

The website was redesigned to be more user-friendly and help the city “be more transparent.”

The City of Elkhart’s website has received a makeover.

The redesigned website, was unveiled Wednesday, June 18, according a press release from the mayor’s office.

The new website is more “usable, intuitive and accessible,” according to the press release. 

The homepage includes links to utility payments, the mayor’s hotline, the permit center and the document center, the press release said. The document center allows viewers to peruse documents found on a specific department’s website on one page, which will allow “the city to be more transparent,” the press release said.

There is a “How Do I...” feature, which answers frequently asked questions.

The website also has mobile and tablet-friendly platforms.
