ELKHART — Lunchtime Live, the downtown promotion that provides entertainment during the noon hour, returns Wednesday at Elkhart’s Lerner Theatre.

Celia Weis will play The Lerner’s restored 1924 Kimball pipe organ.

The program runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Food is not allowed in the theater, so people are encouraged to grab a bite to eat and then stop by to enjoy the music.

Lunchtime Live began earlier this year and is scheduled for the final Wednesday of each month. The program will branch out more beginning next month and introduce other artists.

David Smith, general manager at The Lerner, said the theater has lined up a variety of performers for the summer months.

Depending on weather, some of the events could shift to the Plaza in upcoming months, he said.
