Martin's Super Market shooting victims to be honored with EGH Foundation ceramic heart

The Martin’s Super Market store at Cobblestone Crossing will soon have a permanent memorial honoring Krystle Dikes and Rachelle Godfread, the two women killed in a shooting at the store in January.

The Elkhart General Hospital Foundation is donating one of the painted hearts from its Have a Heart fundraiser to be placed in front of the store.

The heart will be unveiled during a public ceremony, according to the Elkhart Strong Facebook page. The ceremony is at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at the store located at 3900 E. Bristol St., Elkhart. All are welcome to attend.
